How old do I have to be to get a tattoo?
You must be at least 18 years old with a valid state or federal photo ID.
How much will my tattoo cost?
Tattoos start at $1,000. The final price depends on the size, detail, placement, and time required. Once your idea is reviewed, a more accurate estimate will be provided.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Staying hydrated, eating well, and avoiding alcohol the night before will help with initial healing and will make the process run much smoother, as will being well rested.
Do tattoos hurt?
Everyone's pain tolerance is different. Some areas are more sensitive than others, but most people find it manageable.
How long does a tattoo take to heal?
Tattoos usually take about 2–3 weeks to heal on the surface, while the skin continues to fully regenerate over the following months.
How do I take care of my new tattoo?
Remove the bandage after 1–3 hours, gently wash the tattoo with water (no soap), and let it air dry for 10-30 min. Apply a thin layer of aftercare ointment 3–4 times a day. Avoid soaking the tattoo (baths, pools, hot tubs, spa, etc.) while it heals, but showers are fine.
